Twitter made a huge impact on the process and the product phases of my Twitterive assignment. I was skeptical in the beginning, because I had only tweeted a few times during the summer for one of my writing technology classes, and honestly, I didn't see the value in the process at that time. Shortly after conducting my research for Twitterive, I began to see the value immediately. Twitter along with Twitpic made it so easy to document my research, and having the ability to use a simple cell phone for all three functions was wonderful: taking the pic, writing, and tweeting/recording or posting. Having all of my research stored on Twitter made it quite easy for me to begin my writing process, because I could browse my pics and tweets which inspired me to write about the park. Twitter also aided me in building a cohesive plan for action when I began to construct my Twitterive on Weebly. I also found it very beneficial to pull up Twitter when I created my prologue, because not only did I have to list my tweets that contained my research for the project on Weebly, but it helped me organize my thoughts and what I wanted to present in my Prologe for my Twitterive.
